If you're like me and an estimated 40 million others, you bought or received a  Google Home   or  Google Home Mini   this holiday season. I bought and gifted several Mini smart speakers, and I must say that I love them! I have also enjoyed trying to figure out all of the interesting functions of my shiny new devices, and although I had some luck exploring, I was really looking for a resource directly from Google. Unfortunately, finding out all that Google Home and Google Assistant can actually do has not been easy. Thankfully, Google has recognized this and posted a Google Assistant and Actions searchable directory detailing everything that Google Assistant can do and all the apps and services it is currently compatible with. Adobe Education Exchange: Free Teaching Resources for 21st Century Teaching & Learning

Adobe makes some of my favorite software for use in education. Recently, they launched the Adobe Education Exchange: an online community where educators can discover teaching and learning materials, discuss ideas, share resources for infusing Adobe software in education, and collaborate with colleagues on solutions that benefit the entire K-12 community. The Key to Education Reform: "Principal Teachers"

As Americans debate education reform, there is a great deal of discussion surrounding teacher improvement through more rigorous and valid teacher evaluation. While a crucial component to improvement of education, enhanced teacher performance is only half of the equation. How can we expect to have great teachers without first having great "principal teachers" who are true educational leaders? After all, who will be conducting the majority of teacher evaluations that will help weed out ineffective teachers as well as guide good teachers to greatness? The answer is school principals. Unfortunately, many principals are unprepared for this critical component to real education reform. Several expert research and education associations like The Measures of EffectiveTeaching (MET) project and The Wallace Foundation have studied and identified the essential knowledge and skills that school principals need; however, the level of competency for existing principals in these critical a
